our school has the fingertip rule and sometimes they have suprise checks where they call girls into the hall and measure their skirts. If its too long they have to change, but thah happens like once a year

Uniforms are good because everyone is equal, no one has the latest style there is no pressure to be fashionable. Plus uniforms look tidier and it can result in less bullying
