Without knowledge you would not be able to create what you imagine. However without imagination you cannot take the necessary step of original creation being your own making all the knowledge that you have obsolete to the society

Both are extremely important. I suppose it depends on what you need them for, but I think knowledge is just a tad more important, although I tend to be the creative type.
