@Ariana One Direction and 5 Seconds Of Summer are pop bands, no closer to rock than clouds are to grass. My favourite rock bands are 3 doors down and evanescence. There's some music worth your time.

no offense but none of these bvb etc. bands are rock. They're screamo. Rock is (modern) nirvana and stuff and back then it was the beatles, led zeppelin, queen etc.

@Olivia actually their "post hardcore" which is rock and screaming. Rather as "screamo" is just screaming the entire song.
