Do science and religion go against each other?

It's so fucking stupid how scientists and religious people are always calling each other morons and arguing. Science and religion aren't as different as people make them out to be, and it isn't a competition. They're both searching for answers; the only difference is science is searching for the answers to /testable/ questions (ex. What happens when food coloring is poured into water?), and religion is searching for the answers to /non-testable/ questions (ex. is there a god?). This makes them different, sure. They sometimes have different answers to the same question that can be contradictory, yea. But they're not like sworn enemies or some shit. One is not above the other. The first scientists were actually monks for Christ's sake xD. So yea, that's that. End rant.

Screw what I said about them answering the same question differently, that doesn't happen lol. Evolution: theory to explain why some species are similar biologically Adam and Eve: possible explanation to how people were made Big Bang Theory: theory of why the universe expands Creationism: possible explanation of how e universe came to be

I think on some things science goes against religion, but depending on what kind of science ,it can actually go with religion....most science is just theories not facts, so nothings really proven...
