I'd rather be able to do as I please. I shouldn't be forced to attend school.
School is a waste of time. I don't learn anything. Having to work after stinks.
Education is important. Everyone should work afterwards, as well. Fairness.

I just don't like how school is no longer about learning and understanding. We focus too much on testing and grades, not any important material. Such a disappointment.

I was just discussing that with a family member of mine yesterday. In high school, we have been introduced to PARCC testing. We are guinea pigs. Mind you, all that has been spoon fed to us is how to pass this test.

The fact that I only remember what is being taught to us at the time that it is being taught to us says a LOT about how shitty this system is. Despite all of this, I love to learn. I only learn what is important to me and my future, and I'm assuming everyone else does the same?

Yes. We have PSSA's and practice tests for them called Fore Sights. Also computer CDT's. It's just that the curriculum is bad. We do stuff out of class and get nothing from it.

8th grade but I'm in advanced classes such as geometry. I get so bored.

@AnonymousToAnExtent thanks! But actually a ton of people are. There are two classes full. One takes geometry and the other algebra 2. We take the other next year

Funny, geometry is a 10th grade subject, is it not? What other advanced classes are you apart of?

@AnonymousToAnExtent hmm hey can't do much in 8th but its known as the "enriched" version of everything. We always get "challenged" to do more, but really it's just extra work.

@AnonymousToAnExtent lol it's not impressive tho. As said before, many of my peers are advanced/enriched. Too bad many are also...... not very good students
