When i get scared i lie like when my mother yells at me i panic and lie

There's honest...then there is blunt. You gotta find that sweet spot between honest and blunt. Sometimes people need straight up honesty, sometimes you have to lie so you don't hurt them, and sometimes you need to be brutally honest so they KNOW
