Native Americans were NEVER Mexicans until the Spanish arrived. It would be impossible for her to have a Mexican ancestor cause at that time they didn't exist!

Pocahontas took place in 1624!

Also the Native Americans that lived in Mexico were called Aztecs and they never made any contact with Pocahontas's tribe.

@Sarah Her tribe was far up north for aztecs to even travel up there. Aztecs never made contact with her tribe, but even if they did she would have Aztec ancestors not MEXICAN ancestors.

Mexicans didn't come into existence till Spanish arrived, but even though Spain had arrived in South America a lot earlier then when Pocahontas took place it just wouldn't be possible.

Only 8th. I have no idea what the high school history courses entail. I just realized I should, since my dad teaches history at our high school😁

Actually with the new standards my sister is in 5th grade and she doesn't know that stuff
