Philosophical question: Why can't we all live in a world without money?

I asked the same question to my mom but don't remember the answer!😳😁

So that people would actually do stuff. The world couldn't run without money. No one would do anything if there wasn't money to make sure that they got paid for their work.

Imagine, people choosing jobs and then not doing anything because they think that they can just go get stuff for free. No need for them to work, right?

@Sarah but if nobody worked, then how will the world turn 'round? Can't they just work without caring for the money?

We could all live like monks, but obviously there are those that wouldn't want too. As well there are people who are simply bad.

@NatureLover too many people would try to cheat their way out of working. And what about social/economical hierarchy?

the way I imagine a world without money is that we are all equal and we work without money to keep the earth spinning round

Economy sucks. Money holds if together like flimsy glue that could break at the slightest touch. Without money, you'd probably be living in a cardboard box right now, wondering if you'll live another day
