i think execution should only be used if the criminal is a danger to the public. With all the high tech stuff we have now, execution should be unnecessary

You idiots, public execution would be the quickest way to solve the problems with murders, rapists, etc., etc.. It would not only get rid of the idiotic criminal, but strike fear into the rest of the people. It would decrease the crime rate. Hangings, removing heads with an axe, burning people, or shooting people is the best way to maintain order, killing two birds with one stone as they call it, getting rid of the criminal and striking fear into the people and decreasing crime. The law should allow and support these executions.

FYI, responding to first comment. An example is North Korea, they tie them up and shoot them in front of many.
