Yeah its pretty cool. The electricity stimulates certain parts of the brain in such a way as to induce simultaneous self-awareness of the person (consciousness) during the dream and of the dream itself (unconsciousness), leading to the induction of an artificial "lucid dream" 😉
@🍑😝Totally😝🍑, For me, they're pretty rare, but I love it when I have a lucid dream where I have almost full control of my actions (not necessarily the dream environment). I tend to almost always start flying in them, and it is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! 😃
@AnonymousToAnExtent, Hmmm thats interesting, I never really thought twice about my dreams having a sound component. Now that I think about it, I can't really "remember" any of my dream's sounds (ex. talking, environment noises, etc.) 🙉
@AnonymousToAnExtent, But maybe within our dreams themselves there are sounds (or the subconscious perception of sounds) that simply don't get "recorded" in our memory of the dream during the dream-to-memory registration process. Maybe(?) lol
I have sound in my dream. I remember distinctly that one of my dreams involved a demon growling deeply in my ear. It was such a rich and disturbing sound that I woke up abruptly from my sleep. Also, I have color in my dreams. Many odd shades of pink and red.
I distinctly remember having conversations in my dreams and there being things that made sound(s) which I reacted to during my dream, but I just can't remember what those sounds truly "sounded" like, just that they existed, I only remember the visual component of these dreams.
In terms of color within my dreams, I definitely dream in full color, identical in every way to the full color spectrum of that seen in real life, with no odd variations or out-of-the-ordinary colors alterations 🔴✴️⚠️✳️💠🔵🈳🔯🚺
Very interesting.. Dreams. The human consciousness.. Being able to reflect on one's own dreams after they have passed. The human mind is the most beautiful thing out of all things on EARTH. more than love, art, money.
Without the mind, we would not be able to think about how we feel about any of these things. We wouldn't be able to FULLY comprehend love. We wouldn't be able to create absolutely magnificent things. Even a person with a mental disability can still be absolutely talented because the brain still functions in some way.
Although thinking can be a nuisance at times, it is a true gift. I am grateful that I can think. I have the ability to communicate with you wonderfully interesting people on this entertaining app full of many boring, partly unintelligent creatures.
It is. And it is interesting how experiences throughout the day can affect dreams. It is astounding how some dreams that people have are absolutely bizarre. I don't think I've ever had what I consider a 'normal dream'. Like being chased by a cheetah and not escaping.
@AnonymousToAnExtent Most of my dreams are about school, they start out as normal, but turn into something strange. I usually end up somewhere else. As soon as it starts going strange, I usually figure out I'm dreaming.
My dreams are NEVER normal... Although sometimes my dreams are just ax exact repeat of my day..
Have you ever had dreams that happen in episodes.. I like on day you dream something, and another day you will dream the follow up of that dream?
And do you find that once you talk about your dream to someone, you never dream of it again??
Here's an example of what I dream of: Lizard chef cooking me dinners. School with glass walls and elevators with people on them on the ceiling and walls that defy gravity. Loved ones and I turn into pharaohs and fight to the death. Etc. lol
Ah, forgetting one time that I turned into a lemon and walked on plastic legs. Also had teeth and kept trying to hold open my jaw so I wouldn't smash my teeth together. Always ended up with my teeth bending so far they would fall out.
Also dreamt of a deranged scientist crushing my head in a torched device that involved me putting my head into what looked like a mouth. He would turn the knob and it would slowly squish my head together. So I felt my eyeballs pop and teeth break against one another. So orgasmic.
Basically explaining another dream where a deranged scientist put my head in this torture device and turned a knob slowly so it would crush my head from top to bottom. So I could feel my teeth break and eyeballs burst.
@🍑😝Totally😝🍑 That is an awful nightmare. Spiders of any kind are just disturbing. Although, I do enjoy them eating the Mosquitos and flies that are always pestering me. So they have a purpose and should exist.
@🍑😝Totally😝🍑 Genders.. Ehh.. I would just prefer to be anonymous. Keeps things interesting. I also like to confuse people for my own enjoyment because I will forever be the only one who knows. Hehe ;-)
