Are you happy that gay marriage is legalized in all 50 states?

As heterosexual as I am, I feel as though this is an accomplishment. People should be free to love who they please. Marry who they please. HOWEVER... Focusing on this and not the many people in America who are suffering is unwise.

The government is supposedly trying to take care of the less fortunate- it's just that we've screwed everything up so badly in the past that it's hard to recover from that. Also marriage equality shouldn't have even been a problem. It's a basic right.
