I'm really conflicted on this. I don't like the idea of tax money being used to assist drug addicts, but at the same time, they're human beings who deserve not to contract terminal illnesses. I'd say I'm ok with it.

No it'll save a lot of $ for us tax payers.. Dont want to seem like a cold person but they (Drug abusers not those that were exposed through blood transfusions) did it to themselves...

hmmm I dunno about it...like I have respect and sympathy for drug addicts and want them to not get totally fucked up, but at the same time ehh...I feel like there should just be a better like rehab system or something. Then maybe we wouldn't have this problem

in some countries they have places where addicts can go to get high safely with clean needles and if they accidentally overdose there are teams on stand by to revive them and they have a rehabilitation centre upstairs

Ummm why would you give them contaminated needles? That's just wrong lol. But at the same time... Supplying them with the very thing that transfers the drugs into their body would want to make them do it more. But, they can't really stop easily anyway.

Man your questions are so controversial. Makes me consider what I would do in certain situations. I love it.

That actually exists in my country. It's a house called "Fixerstuff" and it's basically a house where junkies receive clean needles.
