Well if your loyalty is causing you to involved in shitty situations and making you unhappy, it probably isn't worth it.

I hate how although friendship and life and everything is so informal and casual, we're still expected to be "loyal" when some of the time it's people using their friends to be on their side in an argument or whatever.

Oh! Yes. Hammer's are very important. They are useful for so many things and can save and improve lives in the end. 😉 But loyalty. Other people's happiness comes before your own to a certain extent.
