Yes, if no body ever seemed equality then we would be back as we were before. Where women were seen as second class citizens.

but feminism as a movement is marked. When people hear it they assume men hating irrational lesbians. So progress will be limited simce they are marked

feminism is the movement of equality for the sexes, not genders. gender equality is called egalitarianism.

I'm personally a feminist but I'm the first to admit that the movement is indeed flawed. A movement aimed toward gender equality has gained itself negative connotations through radicals.

Which really sucks cuz there are a lot of feminists that I know that actually care about the equality aspect for men as well. You can't be a feminist while ignoring male rape victims for example
