Can animals commit suicide?

There's been some cases of Animals committing suicide.

The most common way is that they'll get depressed and just stop eating, starving themselves to death. Animals suffer from depression... A mother animal can mourn herself to death over the loss of a child.

Wild or Domesticated. Free or Captive. Pets or Lab Animals.

Animals can commit suicide and anyone that says differently doesn't have access to google or educational television stations like Discovery Science or National Geographic.

Depression and suicide not only occurs in humans but in nature as well.
