They're women and they aren't sexualized, they're badass, they look ordinary like actual normal people, there's a black lady, there's a lesbian, like holy shit representation through the roof! It's so important! But I'm pretty sick of people making either movies that are remakes or movies that come from books or video games. I want original fiction movies (with women, gay people, trans people, and racial diversity of course!)
@Derz Are you implying there is something wrong with being a lesbian? Cause if you are fuck you. And I think beautina has made it as explicit as possible that she isn't lesbian with all the umm...flirting...with men she's been doing lmao so at least say bi and be more accurate
@👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑 I'd also like to point out that it's a possibilty that the majority of women liked the movie just because it had female leads. Not saying that males could've disliked it for the same reason, but I'm sure some women were biased.
@Serpentine Well yea, but even still if they're giving it a higher rating it's because they're happy someone wrote women well, didn't sexuality them, made them competent, etc. And that's a good thing that should be praised
@Ethan I don't give a shit how men were represented in the movie because they don't need good representation they have that everywhere tbh soooo yea
I mean if they were just sitting there trashing men saying they're all terrible in an aggressive uncalled for way then I'd care but even that wouldn't really matter if you think about it because although it'd be rude and offensive it wouldn't have an effect on society or the way men are treated or looked at
