Why would you confront him? As in "I like you" or as in come up to him and argue with him bc he likes your friend...? Both are kinda stupid, sorry. If he likes your best friend, why tell him you like him? It's bound go downhill, and if you confront him argumentatively, it's no use, no one chooses who to like. Best thing to do is forget him :)
