@Sarah same situation is going on with me :) junior in high school, and I can't date until I'm 18. The boy I like knows I can't date, and he's waiting. the whole dating behind your parent's back is ridiculous! It shows 1) disrespect for your parents 2) disrespect for yourself and 3) the lack of trust and uncertainty toward the guy you like. If you date someone secretly, then you are uncertain if his feelings for you are valid. It'll be worth it in the long run if you find out that he will actually wait. Because that's what makes him worth it. His devotion. He shows disrespect to you and your parents too if he agrees to such a thing. Don't listen to the people that say secretly date, Sarah.
