What should we do to reduce debt in America?

Whoever said cut down military costs are complete idiots! How about welfare! People who GLADLY boast about what's the need of getting a job, if the government can support they're way of living! How about better background checks or higher standards of needs before they dish out money? I way qualify for WIC, and food stamps, but I'm not going to accept government aid if I'm well on my own means to care for my family of 4. People need to get some work ethic, and not live for free on MY tax dollars!

now I understand there are people who truly DO need aid, and I'm all for helping them. Everyone needs a second chance, I'm talking about lazy people who are VERY capable of working, but chose not to.. They need to kick those people out of the programs, or make them work for it. If they did that, we could save ALOOOOT Of money

@Michael Moon did I say that? No. I am republican as well and don't agree with the "robin hood" theory (taking from others who work hard and giving it to those who do nothing).

btw on spending: did you know that we pay $35 thousand to research the average length of a ducks penis? Seems really stupid

how about they stop giving freaking hand outs to everyone who has a scratch and slowly but surely pay off their debts to countries like china then worry about it

If we didn't give out money to people who are just lazy we'd be better off. It is not fair to take the money of hardworking Americans and waste it on nothing.

We will be in debt till our economy collapses, there's no getting out of it, the US literally throws billions of dollars at other countries and has billions for war but can't help their own people,
