What phone should i get Samsung galaxy S3 or iPhone 4S

Samsung galaxy S3 is rubbish my friend got it and he said it was the worst £600 he has ever spent

everyone telling me to get it thou cos i have an ipad so what would be the point in a iPhone u know what I mean xxx
