Well the common known "fact" that we only use 10% percent of our brain is inaccurate...We use about 75% of our brain in the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere use it to control of body and if you are right handed your right hemisphere is stronger and if your left handed ur left hemisphere is stronger

Different percentages for different things. All in all, you use 100% at some point. Also, reading is one of the things that really uses a lot, which is why it's such a good brain exercise.
