Is dance a sport?

technically I think a sport requires a ball. Not that dance doesn't require as much skill, but it may not be a sport by definition

@Prufrock. No, sport doesn't require ball. For example, Gymnastics, Skiing, Snowboarding, Surfing. I might be wrong, but my definition of sport is that it requires physical activity and and can be competitive.

my definition of sport us something you have to react to in the moment. Therefore dance does not count
