Is it conceited to say that ur popular?

I asked this question bcuz someone asked what group u belong to but none of the choices were my kinda group so I put popular cuz I think I'm pretty popular and someone commented back saying "conceited much" I wasn't trying to be conceited not all popular ppl r jerks who make other ppl feel bad about themselves and all of that. To me being popular is when you have a lot of good friends who surround you and ur well liked and I don't think it's conceited to say that that's like if I were to say that I'm pretty it's not conceited it's having a good self esteem...whatever I just wanted to see what you guys thought plz comment

@Naya so I meant to say no but anyway. I completely agree!!!! It's not conceited at all (in my opinion). If your bragging about being popular and how everyone likes you that's a different thing. Saying your popular without showing off is perfectly fine !

it's not good to be popular I eat lunch with the kids who get bullied because they are not popular it makes them feel better

It depends, if you say to someone "Man, I am so popular ☺" or "oh you're just jealous because I'm popular 😌", then you're being conceited. If you're answering a question about popularity/ which clique your and you're not bragging, it's perfectly fine.

it depends on if UR actually not popular and nobody likes U or ur actually ACTUALLY popular. There's also good and bad popular.
