I can't decide whether or not I should get dreadlocks. Any ideas?

as long as you know what you're getting yourself into, do what makes you happy Dreadlocks will look absolutely horrid for about a year and will make your hair like 4-6in shorter at first before they're mature. Also, using waxes that make dreads look less messy will slow the dreading process and make your hair look bad for even longer.
