@CMR you guys shouldn't "plan" on getting engaged it should be a surprise for you and the guy is supposed to plan on proposing but not a year in advanced its supposed to be at the right time when he realizes he wants to spend the rest of his life with you

@AI13 he realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me after two weeks of dating. I'm only 17 and he turns 18 next month. It will be a surprise, all I know is its gonna be sometime after I graduate. After we're both in college and over 18. By the time we get married, I'll be 19 and he'll be 20

@CMR you guys r way too young to get married and you haven't known each other long enough khloe kardashian and Lamar Odom got married after a couple weeks of dating and they got married and now they're getting a divorce

@AI13 you don't know how long we've known each other, and I don't care how young I am. My sister is 19 and her fiancé is 20 and they're getting married next year. My whole point is if you know that they're the one you wanna spend our life with, why wait? I love him with all my heart and I know he feels the same

@CMR I understand you guys love each other I'm just saying you guys r so young you haven't fully matured yet and idk if you guys r living together which I think you should do before getting married so you could get used to living with each other

@AI13 first off, I honestly don't care about how "young" we are. Second, I'm a Christian and I don't believe that it's right to live together before marriage. We love each other a lot and I don't think age matters. As for maturity, we're both really mature, I've already told my parents out plans and they support us

@CMR I'm a Christian too but I believe that you guys should see what it's like to spend a lot of your time together before doing so legally I just don't want you guys to rush into things just so it could end due to differences that you didn't know you had while you were dating

@AI13 we usually spend like 8-9 hours a day with each other and I'm completely comfortable with him. I know enough about him to know who he is

@CMR ok Im just telling you that it's a big deal when you exchange vows it makes getting a divorce so much harder than breaking up and I don't want you to rush into something that you might not be ready for

@AI13 I know I'm ready for it. I'm not rushing into anything. By the time we say I do, we will have been together for 3 years. I think that's plenty of time to figure everything out
