Is 9PM a reasonable curfew for a 17 year old?

some people who say they're like 10 or something always say they go to bed at like half 10 or 11 but seriously people your either lying it seriously should have some more sleep

@Cherry Rouge yeah I know I have no curfew (well not one set in stone I have to obviously be in before like 3 am but then I love sleep lol) I used to do that and I was so tired always it was so horrible, and I woke up so late I hardly had time to get to school

@Jess yeh exactly I'm 14 I go to bed at 10 or half 10 on a school night and I'm still tired so people who boast about going to bed really late should just go to bed at a normal time no one cares if it's so late it's just ridiculous you're like 10 or 11

@Cherry Rouge I have a school play in 2 weeks (rehearsals started in September but I only just started so fingers crossed) and I've been going to bed at about nine (makes me feel like a little baby but so well rested) for my voice and my year 7 friends boast how they don't go to bed till like 2 in the morning

@Jess yeah it's stupid they think they're big and 'cool' but seriously it's just stupid it's no biggie I have friends that have to be in bed by 9 but no one cares because it's something people don't need to boast about cause young people need sleep they'll just get tired and annoyed at everything then won't do well in school

@Cherry Rouge I've worked out that the only time I've pushed my not curfew curfew is last year when I was at summercourt fair (like the royal cornwall show) with my friends and I stayed out (there are so many rides and stalls on fair day) till 3 and that was the only time. It wasn't long after my thirteenth birthday and it was like a birthday treat.

i think I know what's wrong with society today. When I was 16 and younger my bedtime on school nights was 8PM and on weekends 930 tops. Get some sleep people your growing minds need it.

i am 19 years old i work all the time and still stay with my parents and no they dont give me a curfew and im still in by 10 weekdays and 12 maybe 1 weekends because i respect my parents

if my parents told me my curfew is 9 I would ask them what is up their assholes. 9 is waaaaaay too early if you're giving your kid a curfew of 9 pm they are probably too young to have a curfew. 17 should be out till ungodly hours havin fun!

When I haven't got school the next day it's when ever I want, normally it can be 1-3 AM because sometimes ill go when my mum does, not good. On school nights it's 10-11.

Maybe about 9-10ish bc you got school and studying if you want to pass any test..and if you want to graduate high school and get a good education,be something big....and follow your dreams and have a Career for the rest of your life....so I think in my opinion 9pm-maybe 10pm is a good time for a seventeen year old
