What cake flavor?

I don't know why everyone loves red velvet I've worked for the cupcake factory for 3 years and all that red velvet is. Is regular cup cake batter mixed with red food colouring. Other then the name there is nothing special about it.

@Max powers Actually, that's not 100% true! I thought so too for a long while. But there actually IS a way of making it, that isn't just that. There is some chocolate in red velvet, but it's not 100% chocolate and food dye. That may be how you make it, but not everyone.
