Wearing glasses doesn't justify if you're a "geek", or not.

@Blair and @Cookie_Monster are correct. There are tons of teen girls who call themselves 'geeks' just to look cool. This is stupid, because they've probably never touched a comic book. I want one of these 'geeks' to name at least 8 avengers who weren't in the movie (Of course this apples only if you like and have read Marvel comics) But really, you can't exactly call yourself a geek unless you can have a full conversation with another geek about a new comic book and tell every major detail in it. IMO, just like gamer girls, there are to much fakes that act this way to impress another

I'm the worse computer junky ever!

I have to wear glasses, and when people wear fake ones without the lenses to look "cool", and "geeky", it's really annoying. Of course they don't have the constant struggle of being close to blind without them, and everyone wants to try them on, and be told they look good in the glasses. Most people have perfect 20:20 vision, but I have 20:80 vision. Pretty bad eyesight. And every year, I have to go to the eye doctor to get updated lenses, because my eyes needa higher prescription, and I can see less and less without them. EVERY. YEAR. It' a scary feeling that one day I'll go blind. So while people are wearing lensless glasses to seem like they look geeky and cool, I'm thinking someday I won't be able to see at all.

I'm only 14.

Also, yes I'm a geek. YouTube and video games are my life. Does that count as a geek or a nerd? :3
