What do you think to mothers getting their child's ears pierced? I'm talking babies

not saying that I'd do it to my child but I had them done as a baby cause my dads side is Spanish (it is a Spanish tradition)

I'd wait until they want it so they can get it done professionally and not by a gun

I would wait until my child asks to get them done.

i got mine done when I was a baby I'm getting one more when I'm 19

@Jade<3 same but I got them done at 7 so I think that's an ideal age or maybe older the only reason they will want to get it done I'd because every one in there school will probably have it done or they will see some one with it done

I'd wait until thy want it coz if they don't want it then its kinda awks

i had mine done at 13 and I think that's the youngest I would let my child have here done

I think around 10 ish would be ideal I had mine done at 8 because I really liked the look of em and the different types of earrings

i got it done when I was a baby

I got mine done at four months

They wouldn't remember the pain and it'd be easier

And besides if the kid doesn't want the piercing anymore, they could just let the holes clse

I think it's fine I got mine done when I was a baby so it wouldn't hurt when I remember

but why tho? I think it's cruel, a baby can't look after its ears

one day my dad and I were at the mall looking for Christmas gifts for the family and I asked if I could get my ears pierced and I was three years old and so we home and my mom was like I wanted to watch my child get them but gonna get a second hole when I'm 11

@lol it's a BABY. Do you honestly think a baby wants their ears pierced??? Not only do they hold the screaming child down, but they do it with a gun which is absolutely FILTHY.

I got my ears "pierced" wjen i was about 1 y/o :) its better , cuz i dont have to do it now and remember the pain ;)

I don't think babies should have their ears pierced. They could pull on the earrings and cause the hole to get really big.

well I think it's okay. Honestly I was young when I had mine pierced and and I remember it, it doesn't feel of anything really. Just a little pressure on the ears. No harm done.

It's their parents choice, some people might think its cute, some people might think it's disgusting but truly it's their opinion :) x

It's down to the mother and father, I'm not one to judge...

I think it's down to the mother and if the child doesn't like it when they are older they can take them out

I was 8 - let the kid get it done when it's ready. I've seen mothers forcing them to chairs to have them done. Child cruelty! Social services?

I had mine done at 6mths and I thank my mum for doing that! If my mum didn't get my ears pierced I would have been far too scared. I don't even remember the pain so it's all good!
