What are your views on the existence of God/Jesus Christ? Christianity?

We can prove that Jesus Christ did exist but it is completely ridiculous to say he was the son of god because many have said the god created everyone in his own image but Jesus was just a man like the rest of us. Oh and btw the people who wrote the bible were on LSD

God did create everything in his own image. Even Jesus. Jesus had no faults and he would do anything to save us from suffering death. That is why he died on the cross even though every single one of us should have been up there because we sin every single day. And God shows us how much he loves us by sending his Son to this world to save us all. The verse John 3:16 says, 'for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, for whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.' This verse states that God sent us his Son so that we could live with Him after our spirit leaves the body.

Personally, I totally believe in God. I think that the whole point of God is to believe in him and trust in him even through our doubts. God's all around us. He placed us on this earth to try to live and treat each other with respect and kindness. Obviously, we commit sins and he can't control our actions. Therefore The bible doesn't predict our actions. God has faith that we will do the right things, but sometimes we don't. The whole point of Christianity is to have faith in God no matter what, and we have to trust he's there.

I have views on the matter but they aren't those two listen in the question. I see everything as a possibility. We know a lot for a mortal species, but if you look at all of the unanswered questions in the universe compared to what we know, we know so little, and for all we know, everything we think we know could be inaccurate or completely false. Therefore, one cannot say something is impossible or that something is fact. We simply have no idea. We lack the ability and certain knowledge to find out. As much as one may believe for sure God(s) exists, he/she truly don't know. And as much as one believes for sure God(s) cannot exist he/she doesn't really know either. We all make up our beliefs from a mixture the upbringing we had (our culture, positive or negative experiences, etc.), and usually a bit of our logic that has a high chance of being flawed because we as people are flawed and restricted to a single view point. All theories and ideas are possible. All of the things said in the Bible or Koran or whatever you believe in is possible. All of the scientific explanations could possibly be accurate. We don't know which one is right, if any. I don't know. You don't know- no matter how sure you may be that you do. This is also a reason to respect others' viewpoints. No matter how sure you are that they're wrong, the fact is, YOU DON'T KNOW. So don't judge them for their ideology just because it's different than yours. Their views just resulted from the way they were raised, the way their lives laid out, and the way their minds think- all things they cannot change (you should NEVER judge someone for something they cannot change) and all things that you build your beliefs upon also. It's all the same. Treat their beliefs as the same. As an equal to yours. Because that's what they are. Sorry about this monstrosity ⬆ I just woke up and for some reason I always get all philosophical when I'm tired, and I ramble a lot. It was storming terribly outside and I asked Him for help. I prayed that my family would be ok and that I would be ok. Though some of you may say "it was a storm it's gonna be ok duh" it was a tornado warning and I was young. Plus when I am in danger or nervous and I pray I feel comforted by something. As if something inside me has told me its alright and ok. No need to prove how I feel about The Lord and Jesus. I believe in them and that's all I need.

i don't understand how the majority of the world have accepted Christianity and just completely disregarded other ancient beliefs as myths. Most of christianity is based off of Paganism and other old religions.

for example, sunday, when u worship "God", was actually the day the pagans worshipped the sun, hence Sun-day. Christmas is actually on the 25th because it coincides with the winter solstice which was a big holiday for pagans. Its not a coincidence these holidays are at the same time

if there's a god he has left me. Because all I feel I am is evil. I'm knocking on heavens door and it will never be opened. He screwed me over. And if there's a god in a way I hate him.
