@TheKingIsBackv It's just the way they were taught to think about it, and it's all in interpretation. Different people view it in different ways. For example, I see a lot of symbolism in this story. Eve was supposedly made from Adams rib, a bone close to the heart, which to me symbolizes closeness, sharing a bond, and love. Also, according the story, when Eve bites into the apple, she becomes knowledgeable, which can be a metaphor for evolution. This makes sense because back then if you flat out said "People were made from apes" or whatever, it would be dubbed witchcraft, so the stories in the Bible had to be something people would want to and be ale to believe, relate to, and understand from then 'til the end of time. Also, the apple which symbolizes knowledge/facts, was something God didnt want exposed to them but the devil tempted them to want, which made me think about how people who believe strongly in scientific theories tend to stray from religion. Also, somewhere else in the Bible it talks about how since God is infinite, 1,000 years to us is like 1 day to him (which I doubt is the actual ratio, but the idea makes sense). So, the world wasn't necessarily made in 6 "people days", but about 6 days to God, which could be any amount of time. Damn, that was long XD but those are a few of my ideas on the matter

I strongly disagree with the fact that this so called, "God," placed man and woman on earth, which supposedly sparked the rest of the development of the world. That is highly illogical and it I find it extremely hilarious that people actually truly and firmly believe in this folk-tale.

i understand people believe in god and various religion but i find it strange that some people believe god created to people at the beginning while there is proof of evolution

@Llew They're taught to ignore what appears to be the truth, and trust the word of God instead... I think that's a bit retarded because it's not like scientists pulled the fossils outta their asses, it's fact, not a guess

@Llew Yea, I agree they are. But it's part of their religion to ignore fact and trust God. It's like how Hindus believe the Ganges River will cleanse them if they bath in it and drink the water, when really it's of sewage, ashes of dead loved ones, and other trash and nasty shit. When scientists tell them it's fact that is is making them sick, they say nope, the gods say this river cleanses us and is holy. I think most religions are based on ignoring fact, actually. They revolve around miracles and other almost impossible things that they are taught to believe is true no matter what evidence counters it

Logic doesn't matter to these people. You're not going to accept another view when you've believed someone you're whole life, and you've been told to never doubt that one thing. If you start doubting that one thing, not only are you doubting the word of God and sinning, but you also start doubting everything else in the Bible. Since you're life is based of following the Bible, you're now lost af in life. Why? All because you decided evolution is fact. BaBam! Psychology!...kinda...not really lol

Welp! It can't be proven or disproven. So who knows? It's a blast to think about, however. Despite that, I tend to feel more comfortable believing in things that have some hard evidence.
