@Hunger games addict actually, they weigh the same since they are both a TON of iron and a TON of cotton, so they both weigh equally since they are both a ton. Anyone agree or disagree with me?

The same, but in comparison it would take more cotton to weigh a ton, than it would iron. That is why it confuses people. It's a trick question๐

A ton of cotton is heavier than a ton of iron because of Archimedes' law because the air displaced for a ton of cotton is greater than the air displaced for a ton of iron.
