Is it okay to test on animals for medical research? Feel free to explain why u think that

Yes. I love animals but horrible as it is, it's necessary. It's not worth risking the health and lives of people many, many people, just to save a few animals that are in a way less important.

cosmetics the animals are suffering for beauty products which is unnecessary whereas scientific research is necessary even though the animals might suffer

Well, those products might not be essential to saving lives. People by them because they aren't happy with the way they look naturally which is their own problem.

I know that, but I'm saying we wouldn't want those people that use those products to be seriously fucked up by them, especially considering if people did stop doings he tests on animals they wouldn't tell the general public, so they'd be unaware of the risk If they stopped making those products altogether that'd work, but then people with low self esteem will be flipping shit, which isn't that bad for some people, but is awful to others Is it worth mistreating animals to have those people feel more secure about themselves? That's a personal opinion. I don't really think its worth it... But I'm not opposed to makeup or anything. I wish people could figure out better ways of doing this shit

Yep, they're the people who are like "hurting poor animals?! That's wrong!" without putting into consideration how important it is... This society teaches us to act like we love all living things, and imprints in our minds that hurting animals is wrong, and people stick with what they were told instead of thinking for themselves which is why they are against stuff like this

Progress is necessary. As long as we preserve animals and nature, it's okay for us to sacrifice a few animals for our own preservation.

there are regulations it's not like they can just go around doing whatever they want to animals. There are ethical guidelines that they have to abide by

@noe animals that are being tested on are well looked after, there are ethical regulations that the companies have to abide by, it is controlled.
