Catholics kinda ruin the purpose of religion. So many Catholics show up at church just for mass and then leave because they believe if they don't go, they'll go to hell. In the church I used to go to we actually discussed philosophy and learned things, plus we had fellowship afterwards where we socialized and shit and youth group where we went out and volunteered. We actually wanted to be there, to listen to the sermon, to help others, to understand things, etc. We weren't forced or brainwashed and we were open to different ideas and opinions. That's what church should be like. Catholics see religious practices as currency. They go "okay, I'll go to church one time every day and you'll send me to heaven. Okay I'll say hail Mary ten times and you'll forgive me". No. That's not how it should be. At all. That's fucked up. I really hate Catholicism you guys xD I could rant on longer than this but I think that went on for long enough...
