#1 is useless, #3 is suicide, and #'s 2 and 4 would cause disaster. So, if I were you, I'd choose #1.

2. If the ocean turned to freshwater, every sea creature would die. That would cause the largest mass extinction of all time, as most species on earth live in the sea.

3. If all the bugs on earth died, so would all the plants, for they have less forms of pollination. Also, soil wouldn't be formed by worms anymore. And insect-eating animals would die out. Basically, all nature would collapse.

4. Since poison ivy is so common, if it all suddenly disappeared, areas would become barren of plants and massive erosion problems would occur.
