My family and I were going to visit my mom's family in Albania (a small country by the Mediterranean Sea and next to Greece and Macedonia for those of you who don't know that), but first we stopped in Italy because there was no flight that would take us straight to Albania. We were only supposed to stay in Italy for a day while we waited for our flight, but we ended up staying staying for a week because they lost our luggage. First they sent it to Afghanistan, then back to the U.S., and by the time we finally got our luggage back and made it to Albania, we were only able to stay for three days because my dad had something important that he had to be back for. Also, we narrowly missed one of our flights. Best vacation ever.
